SPECIAL HUNTER COLLECTION

The Fox Knives 648 Special Hunter is a design that dated back over 100 years.  It is a European classic boar hunter, or pig sticker.  In its locked closed position, it acts as a standard length fixed blade hunting knife.  Great for camp chores, cleaning game, etc.  Flip the lock lever and open the blade, now it has 7-1/2″ of razor sharp steel designed for the quick dispatch of wild boar and other big game. This Special Hunter is just over 12″ in overall open length with a 7-1/2″ blade.  When closed, it is about 8-1/2″ long with a 4-1/4″ blade.  The clip point blade is made from 4mm thick 420C stainless steel and has a mirror polished finish.The lever-lock handle has a keeps the blade locked in the open or closed position.  It features thick, genuine Stag handle slabs on a stainless steel frame.  A swing double finger guard is attached to the blade and swings into position when the large blade is deployed.  The 648 weighs in at 9.5 ounces. For carrying, the Special Hunter comes with a high quality leather belt sheath with flap closure.  The knife fits in the sheath in the closed position.
