The Ziggy is based on a previous collaborative design by Fox and custom knifemaker Jens Anso, but now with a much more straight forward look. The secure grip is supported by the typical milled handle scales. Jens Anso is known for his versatile designs, and the Ziggy is certainly one of them! The blade , made of Bohler N690 steel, is opened with a flipper and secured with a sturdy liner lock. With pocket clip (tip-up). The cobalt-alloyed N690 by Bohler (not to be confused with the lower-grade N695) is a very reliable upper middle-grade steel Boker uses at their Solingen factory for a wide variety of projects. The fine-grained N690, which ranks above 440C, offers convincing performance data in all areas. It is often sold as N690Co – the “Co” stands for cobalt and describes the exact same steel.
